Player Intelligence
Predictu’s proprietary player intelligence system continuously analyzes trading behavior to help operators protect margins, identify VIPs, and detect professional bettors. Every player receives a behavioral profile that drives automated risk decisions and operator analytics.
What It Does
The system evaluates multiple dimensions of a player’s trading activity to build a holistic behavioral profile. It looks at patterns across profitability, market selection, trade timing, position sizing, and diversification to distinguish genuinely skilled traders from recreational players who have had short-term luck.
Each player receives a composite score that captures how skilled, disciplined, and profitable they are relative to the house. This score drives automated protections and provides operators with actionable intelligence.
Player Classifications
Based on their behavioral profile, players are placed into one of four classifications:
| Classification | Description |
|---|---|
| Recreational | Casual bettor with house-favorable trading patterns. The majority of a typical operator’s user base. |
| Moderate | Above-average player who shows periodic winning streaks but is not consistently profitable. |
| Sharp | Consistently profitable across multiple dimensions. Flagged for monitoring and eligible for automated risk adjustments. |
| Professional | Extremely skilled or systematic trader. Subject to the highest level of automated risk controls. |
Automated Protections
The intelligence system feeds directly into the risk management engine, enabling automated responses to player behavior:
- Dynamic spread adjustments — Higher-classified players may receive wider spreads, protecting operator margins without the player being aware of any change.
- Automatic tier adjustments — When a player’s behavioral profile crosses configurable thresholds, the system can automatically adjust their trading tier, changing their limits and risk parameters.
- Tightened risk controls — Exposure limits and other risk parameters can be adjusted automatically for players with elevated classifications.
- Operator notifications — Classification changes and automated actions trigger notifications in the operator dashboard and, optionally, via server-to-server callbacks.
How Scoring Works
Scores are recalculated periodically in batch, not in real time. This keeps trade execution fast and avoids adding latency during high-volume periods. The system runs incremental updates for recently active players as well as periodic full recalculations to ensure accuracy across the entire user base.
A minimum trading history is required before scores become statistically meaningful. This prevents false positives from small sample sizes, ensuring that automated actions are based on reliable behavioral data.
Operator Visibility
Operators can view the following through their dashboard:
- Each player’s current classification
- Score trends over time
- Risk events triggered by classification changes
- Players who have been automatically restricted
Internal administrators have additional capabilities including manual classification overrides, score freezes, and the ability to exempt specific players from automated actions. All overrides are logged in the audit trail.
Operator Isolation
Scores are computed independently per operator. A player who plays on Casino A and Casino B will have two independent behavioral profiles. There is no cross-operator data sharing.
Why It Matters
The player intelligence system is a core differentiator for operators:
- Protect margins — Automatically identify and manage players who consistently beat the spread, before losses accumulate.
- Identify VIPs — Spot high-volume recreational players who are valuable to retain and deserve enhanced limits.
- Detect professionals — Distinguish between lucky recreational players and systematic professionals who pose ongoing risk.
- Reduce manual work — Automated protections handle the most common risk scenarios, freeing operator teams to focus on strategic decisions.
